Overture No.1: The Surrender at Appomattox Written in the summer of 1998, it won the Valley Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition in 1999. Premiered February 1999. Performed by Valley Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Chauls. This piece is a musical interpretation of the day Gen. Robert E. Lee surrendered his confederate army to the union armies under Gen. Ulysses S. Grant. |
Requiem
Includes Introit, Kyrie, Offertorium, Sanctus, Pie Jesu, Agnus Dei, Lux Aeterna, Libera Me and In Paradisum. Written between the summer of 1998 and March of 1999, it premiered on February 6, 2000. Performed at the Forest Lawn Hall of Liberty by the Premiere Chamber Chorale and Orchestra, conducted by Terry Danne. |
